South and West Wales Fishing Communities

About The SWWFC

South & West Wales Fishing Communities ltd was formed back in 1996 to represent the interests of the fishermen who's livelihoods were threatened by the Sea Empress Oil tanker spill at Milford Haven. The grounding of the crude oil tanker in February of 1996 resulted in the discharge of approximately 72,000 tonnes of oil into the seas around the coast of South-West Wales.
